Is Windows Media Player supposed to work with Windows Live Messenger?

Anyone with MSN knows that option in your Personal Message “Show what I’m listening to” but for some reason it worked with iTunes for me, but it won’t work for WMP. I mean, it’s possible that WMP isn’t supported for that, but shouldn’t it be considering they are both windows products? Just wondering…

I believe you have to enable a plugin somewhere in WLM WMP’s menu.
