Do you celebrate Darwin Day?

Asked by elijah (8659points) January 26th, 2009 from iPhone

February 12th is Darwin Day,
“a celebration of science and reason” according to darwinday.org. I am curious to know if anyone plans to celebrate. Have you been to a Darwin Day event? I’m thinking of throwing a party. What kind of activities or party games would you suggest?

Bake a cake in the shape of the Beagle!

Fun Fact: Skandar Keynes, the youngster who played Edmund in the two recent Narnia movies, is Darwin’s great-great-great-grandson. And John Maynard Keynes’ great-great-grand nephew.

Well I celebrate on the 12th, but mostly because it’s my birthday!

@elijahsuicide yeah, I guess it is. I got a little plush of the one with the mustache for Christmas, and I think it’s hilarious! It came with care instructions and everything.
