Is there a website equivalent to fluther but dedicated to programmers and developers?

There is a paid service called expert’s exchange which has always looked promising.. though I’ve never paid so I’m not sure.

I would stay away from pay sites, especially ones that need punctuation to differentiate themselves from “expert sexchange”.

Stack Overflow is almost certainly what you’re looking for.

“Expertsexchange” was a thoughtless decision. I think that’s relevant, but what’s more important is that there is a lot of great, free help on the internets. Don’t waste your money.

Experts Exchange is a great resource and will often turn up when you copy and paste an error message. But never pay for the answers – just scroll to the bottom of the page and the replies will be right there for you to read. It’s amazing how many people don’t know this.
