Yes. To prevent sleep driving. It doesn’t work well.

NaturalMineralWater—yes!! me, too! i’ve even tried pinching myself, hard, in the bottom of my arm/tricep area, and even that fails after a while, and the next day you are left w/ a whole series of ugly bruises on the underside of your arm!

I am a somewhat a slappy girl. When does a slap become a spank?

@NaturalMineralWater I do the same damn thing. It works for a second. Loud music is better than the slap-yourself method for that, haha.

When I do something stupid I’ll do the D-OH! slap and not even realize it till afterwards when my forehead hurts then I’m like “Cat, wtf why’d you do that?”

Definitely do this when driving long distances because I tend to be prone to falling asleep while driving.

I also used to slap myself to the point of leaving welts when my parents were away so that I could get my sister in trouble when they got home… I was an evil child O:)

Sleep driving here too.
Luckily after the first slap I just hold my hand up as a threat to my face saying, “fall asleep again. I dare you.” I tried upgrading to punching but it wasn’t very helpful while driving. Kinda dangerous.

Hahaha I had no idea, you guys are too funny. I slapped myself driving too, really hard!! It was well deserved.
