Non-attorney career path options for paralegals?

I’m a current paralegal, and am considering law school after much prodding by the attorneys at my firm, but with most law schools so expensive and extremely competitive these days, and the experience of law school so seemingly agonizing, I am hesitant to even apply. Does anyone have recommendations for non-attorney career options for paralegals, besides just completely starting over in a new career? Also: what about just continuing as a paralegal? The concern there however, is that down the line I would be even more stuck and unfulfilled. Thoughts?
