What song plays in your head when you are happy?

Asked by NaturalMineralWater (11303points) February 26th, 2009

For me it’s this one . Although, the version I have in my brain is not by Beyonce. Weird huh? Just wanted to add that I know this has sorta been asked before but I don’t wanna know which songs MAKE you happy.. I wanna know when you are already happy and a song comes to your head.. what is it? A technicality .. I know. HA!

It really depends on what has made me happy…

Love = Conway Twitty’s “I’d Love to Lay You Down” (it’s our song)

Friends = Luke Bryan’s “We Rode in Trucks” (at least currently)

General Happiness = a wide variety depending on what I have been listening to lately

I have a jukebox in my head, so it could be anything.

Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles.

I know it’s corny, but it’s true, I promise!

Here Comes the Sun = my fav Beatles tune. Maybe the best pop tune of all time.

Some tunes by They Might be Giants, or Michael Card, or Sugar Magnolia by the GD.

When I thought about the question, the first thing that popped into my head was “Be My Girl!” by Jet. It’s odd, because I don’t really remember it ever occurring, but now it’s the only song I can think of.

Invisible Touch by Genesis
I put speakers into the cheek pads of Bell Star LTD brain bucket and would blast this song as I drove my Kaw at ridiculous speed. I was lucky to have survived this period of my life. May it was the Invisible Touch.
