Can I have a legal document notarized in a different state from which I live?

Asked by nwill71 (4points) February 27th, 2009

I live in one state and work in another, and I have easier access to a notary and three witnesses at my work place. Will the notary and witnesses hold up in court if they are not from my state of residence?
