Is it bad to look at yourself in a mirror while you are hallucinating?

Yes.. The second time I did acid I pooped and spent about an hour figuring out if the roll of toilet paper was wet. I thought someone dropped it in the toilet and pulled it out.

Back to the question. I looked at my self in the mirror for a while. I wouldn’t want to do that again.

When I get really baked I spend a lot of time staring into the mirror. I usually just end up making myself laugh until I fall down.

Could you imagine looking into the mirror while hallucinating and not seeing any reflection at all? I wonder what that would do to someone.

I wouldn’t have a problem doing it, if the mirror was in a place that I was comfortable in. That’s the key to having a good trip.

@Bluefreedom, that’s exactly what a friend of mine said happened to her. Kind of messed her up for a while until she got somebody to tell her that it was okay, that all those ripply running colors were really her and there was nothing to worry about.

Back in the day I remember hearing stories from friends whose visage appeared to be melting when they looked in the mirror while tripping on acid. I had one guy tell me he saw serpents coming out of his face.

After six hits of some decent acid I stared at myself for a half an hour after the minor trial that was peeing. It was pretty entertaining.

All that and I’m still a functioning member of society!

Looking in the mirror on any hallucinogen is a strange experience. Its like you get trapt there staring at yourself for some strange reason. Sometimes you dont recognize yourself which as you can imagine would mess with your head. Other times you just stare into your own soul so it seems. And then suddenly you just snap out of it and think…..wtf that was odd lol and go about your trip.

I wouldnt advise or advise against it really. I dont mind it, but i can see where it would bother some people.

If you’re going to look in the mirror..make sure the damn lights are on. There is nothing scarier in that moment than looking into a mirror when you’re in a dark room that has any type of lighting that makes you able to see at all. So damn scary.

Yeah, staring at your own melting and/or bubbling face can be a little unsettling.

I looked in the mirror while on ambiens and fake marijuana and saw a reflection of me opening up my eyes and staring back at me, but instead the relfection was a demonic looking version of me, and everything i did the reflection would follow so the refelction was real, and while i wasnt lookign up close in the mirror and looking in a body one, my body had demonic features and pupils were shaped like demons and i was alot buffer then usual but im usually a little cut, i even went to my room and curled like 55 lb dumbbels i have for small reps 15 times easy, and now everytime i do ambiens and fake together the same trip happens in the mirror with me seeing my demonic reflection and it seems like it wants to ask me somehting but cant speak….... any explanations for this one?

@doctorbob stay away from synthetic THC, it really is quite horrible for you. Just smoke the real thing if that is what your going for.
