No no no. You just don’t do this. You will be charged if you are found out. This is exactly the same thing as going into their house with a baseball bat.

The mature and responsible way to deal with loud neighbors is to either move (easiest solution) or call the police and file noise pollution complaints every single time it happens. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

@sandystrachan – You do know that the link you provided is to an in-game item in EVE Online, which does not exist in real life whatsoever, right?

I believe a clean nuke would do the job. Though it might have unintended consequences. I’m told that designs for nukes are all over the internet.

everything works it just do you have the time the money and the know how .
i dare say these designs i pointed out before may be able to work i have no clue

Yeah! Build a TV-B-Gone! You can grab a kit from SparkFun industries. It’s also of dubious legality, but it causes no permanent property damage. I like the question, though.

A: I went to the landlord he told me as long as he gets his rent he does not care what my neighbours do. B: I went to cops they told me that they don’t have time for a noise polution complaint due to the fact that they are six months behind with their cases and have four vans to serve a community of a hundred thousand people. They other residants tried the same but failed. So I see this fantacy idea as a service to the community. My other neighbour had a local lawer to write them a strong worded letter and failed. If I could nuke them sure than my whole litle village will be gone and I happen to be happy here. So a baseball could work but it wount solve the problem. I think building a thing like an EMP is not only a cool idea but a permanent solution to all other noise poluters and I will do dammage to them and they will not even know it’s me!

If you really complained to the police and got the brush off, you need to get in contact with a high ranking officer and complain to him. Surely they have a complaint department and if you file a complaint every single time they play loud music and you get the brush off, it will become apparent that someone is not doing their job correctly. If the police ‘do not have time’ for police matters, you need to find out who your congressmen is and get in touch with them. How many times have you gotten the brush off? Have you gotten the persons name and badge number (or employee ID number)?

You do not need to go to the landlord. There is nothing he can legally do outside the clauses in his rental contract. Besides that, he probably doesn’t care about your problem.

If they really bother you to the point of breaking the law, why not just murder them? You seem pretty intent on doing something illegal, so why not amp it up a notch?

Although I highly advise that you don’t do this I can’t resist contributing to this thread. Go to Wikipedia and search RFID Zapper. The first result contains a link to instructions on modifying a disposable camera to fry RFID tags at close range. I think I might have read that these can also fry other electronics. Be warned that the actual device may be illegal and using it in your described way definately is. Also, the RFID Zapper requires you to modify the camera meaning that there is a good risk of getting shocked by the flash if your not careful.
