I am at a lost, and using Fluther to help my son with homework (stifle your gasp). Do you have any song titles and artists that are about performing good deeds?

Dance4Life(song) is a song promoting the Dance4Life charity. There’s the Artiesten voor Azie song “Als je iets kan doen” (“If you can do something”) which was about helping people in general and was a fundraiser for the Tsunami in Asia a few years ago.

And of course Band Aid – Do They Know It’s Christmas?. Live Aid might be helpful too.

Oh, and here’s a very useful Wikipedia page.

Perhaps Bowl of Oranges by Bright Eyes? It sort of is..

“I came upon a doctor who appeared in quite poor health.
I said “There is nothing I can do for you
that you can’t do for yourself.”
He said “Oh yes you can. Just hold my hand. I think that would help.”
So I sat with him a while and then I asked him how he felt.
He said, “I think I’m cured. No, in fact, I’m sure.
Thank you Stranger, for your therapeutic smile.”
