Sorry. That’s not it. The man owns the shop and rents it to a sweet man who sends up food and wine. The stories are sent off around the world on paper lanterns. They are unfinished so people finish them and return them to the man. I’m starting to think his name is in the title.

Omg I’ve read that before, I cant remember it too much but Im almost 100% sure its the same book, sorry I cant remeber the name of it though, I can barely remember what happened in it.
