What to get my friend with benefits for his birthday?

Asked by Trick_dm (1points) October 27th, 2007

Ok, for my birthday he got me a dozen red roses in a vase with a mylar balloon. I was very surprised and happy because I never imagined he would get me anything. I really like him and want to get him something that will make him say Wow! I was thinking of getting him a wall calendar of models on motorcycles.

If you’ll allow me to assume that you both are pretty open with each other, then perhaps get him a gift cert to an adult store and take him shopping (or something similar—go with him to a strip club and buy him a table dance, take him to Hooters, what have you).

If that’s not quite your speed, add a decent six pack to the calendar and put a little bow on it.

You might have to track down the 2008 calendar, but this calendar group (Iron Angels) is pretty hot:

To me, a wall calendar of hot models on motorcycles doesn’t really say “I really like you”. It might say “I like having sex with you”, but it sounds like maybe you’re hoping for something a little bit deeper than that. If that is the case, maybe go for something less sexual and more intimate, like the equivalent of the roses and balloons that he got you for your birthday.

I agree with sjg…and if you want to show him you care, it always helps to make something personal—you could try making him a mix CD or playlist with songs that you picked out…gift certificates are always nice too…or go out to a nice dinner. It seems like if he bought you a dozen red roses, that is a very sweet and romantic gesture, and he might be ready to take this beyond just “friends with benefits.”
