Wifi on Ubuntu on a Eee 1000?

Asked by shared3 (921points) March 13th, 2009

I just installed Ubuntu (latest) on my Eee and everything is working fine except I have no idea how to connect to a wireless network. Is it because it doesn’t recognize my wireless card? Or is it because I’m such a ditz I’m missing a button or something?

Perhaps this can help

If you have the drivers installed and working it should be just a matter of connecting in the upper left.

Also note that your installation also contains documentation (I suppose you’ll be able to find it somewhere in the menu) which is perfect to help you with things like this. The documentation is really underexposed :)

EeeUser Forums will be able to help you out I’m sure :).
