Depends on the water. Or, to be more literal, what impurities are in the water in question.

Clear. It reflects the light around it or, as laureth said, can take on the color of material in it.

Is clear a color ? What color is , say , Dasani bottled water OR just plain rain water ? Ive been told water has no color.

Looks clear but immatates the colors around it. it mirrors it.

@petethepothead : I did actually read that water is blue once. I don’t remember where, though.

Well the Mississippi River is a nice chocolatey brown color. Tastes nothing like chocolate though. I wouldn’t reccomend drinking it without an expensive purification process first.

Clear isn’t the same as colorless. Red liquids can be clear. Water is a clear, colorless liquid.

Just because it’s colorless doesn’t mean it’s clear. Repeat – water is a clear, colorless liquid.
