It’s simple, isn’t it? Roasted turkey breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard. Cheese and avocado are mandatory options.

It just depends on the quality of your ingredients.

You can go to the grocery store and buy deli counter, ham and turkey and some Hellman’s and some crappy bacon and some Wonder Bread.

or

Buy a uncooked turkey breast. Brine it. Roast it. Use a slicer to slice it nice and thin.

Ham, make up a good glaze, maybe with some pineapple juice, honey and some good mustard. Roast it. Slice it up.

Bacon? Maybe some applewood smoked bacon.

Mayo? Make your own. Egg yolks and oil. Maybe add your own flavors to it. Whatever you want. I’m thinking maybe cranberry mayo.

I still like regular fresh and crisp iceberg lettuce. Tomatoes, it would be great to have some nice Jersey tomatoes.

Cheese. What ever you want. Something mild. I would like to have Cooper Cheese on mine.

Bread. Go to your local bakery, buy a loaf of bread and slice it down.

The sky is the limit when it comes to sammiches.

now I want my club

Yes.. the bread is quite important… it can make or a break a sammich regardless of what’s in it… (almost)

Toast the bread!

Instead of toasting the bread, I like to put the sammich in the oven at 350 for about 5 minutes. The bread gets all nice and toasty and the cheese gets a bit melted. mmmmm.

Redleaf lettuce is much better for you than iceberg. Plus iceberg tastes like water. :P

I specialize in sandwiches since I bought the sandwich maker. It is a great little electric griddle and it makes a perfect sandwich. My turkey club would mean buttering the bottom bread preferably sourdough bread from Publix, butter side down, topped with premium white turkey breast, a little bacon, a slice of Provolone cheese and top with buttered bread, butter side up. Close up that sandwich maker and wait for the green light!
If you don’t have a sandwich maker, you can get one for about $15. at KMart. Hamilton-Beach makes it and it is priceless for what it does to a sandwich! If you can’t do that, then use a frying pan on medium heat on the stove and turn it once the bottom gets brown.
