With itunes you buy the music- its yours to keep even after you stop giving Apple money. With rhapsody you are only renting it – the moment you stop paying the monthly bill DRM in the downloads stop you from playing them.

How about zune?

Zune is the same you only rent the music, although I think with Zune you get to keep 10 songs a month.

Is there a program or software where u pay monthly for music to keep

emusic.com gives a number of downloads each month for set price but otherwise no I can’t think of any.

I checke out emusic and it still doesnt tell me how much a song is or how much a subscription unless i sign up which i do not want to do. And it seems like they do not have that much music as well.

I want to use something so that i wouldnt have to default to itunes, cuz i have all of it on a new subscription of my music downloading agent.
