How do I turn on the temperature and direction settings on the display pannel in my '08 Ford Focus?

Asked by ashcrash_30 (1points) March 18th, 2009

I got my Focus about a year ago and I have read through the owners guide and cannot find anything about how to turn on the temperature and direction setting on the display area, everything else works, it shows the time and the radio and the sync settings. Can anyone help?

I found this answer to a similar question here

“The Focus does not have the ability to display the outside temperature. The reason you can see the segmented displays when the sun hits it at an angle is because the display panel which is installed in your Focus is the same display that is installed in other higher end models that may be equipped with the ability to display outside temperature, such as the Lincoln MKZ, or Taurus. Same parts may be installed across model lines”

I assume the same would be true of the “direction” feature
