Does FLUTHER make millions of dollars?

Fluther is a privately held company that has not disclosed its revenues.

My guess would be no.

I would have to agree with glial. According to Compete.com, Fluther averages about 21K visits per month. Right now, it appears their only source of revenue is Google AdSense. According to this article, the average cost-per-click in AdSense is $0.20. If everyone clicked on an ad during every visit, this would equate to a monthly revenue of $4,200. $4200 * 12 = $50,400.

So no, Fluther does not make millions of dollars.

Plus, not everyone clicks on ads during his visit. In fact, most don’t. For that matter, I don’t think there are that many new websites that make millions. I don’t think even a site like Digg.com earns that much :)
