Yes I have and it involves a few people I’ve known all my life and a few newer ones. In a way it’s kind of scary to see little things progressively coming together where they were only wishes and hopes for the future before. Life is amazing.

I work on off-leash dog parks. I build and create them. I keep them going. I have been a part of building two. I have worked on four. It is very fulfilling. I do it for the dogs.

@Marina wow, that’s sounds amazing, might I ask where/location (roughly)?

I work with a Girl Scout troop that is called an “outreach” troop. We are located in a rather rough, low-income, violent urban area. I think i’m doing my best to make life just a bit brighter, happier and easier and to give these girls a role-model even if it’s just for 3 hours every Friday.

Are Fluther mods already removing lemsteve comments? Get used to it. You’re gonna get carpel tunnel syndrome, I think.

@VzzBzz I was the first President of the non-profit group that got the land from the county, cleared and opened this 30-acre dog park in Washington state. I now work with the non-profit group that supports Fleet Peeples Park in Winter Park, Florida.
