What frustrates you the most?

Asked by Zen (7748points) March 27th, 2009

If you are online, do you really cry because of technical problems and glitches? In real life, what really frustrates you and drives you insane?

arrogance and narcissism.

Zen's avatar

@Amoebic Hi again. I agree. Those are two whoppers.

People that feel as if they are allowed to be a jerk six days a week because they attend church on the 7th day.

My biggest frustration is seeing members of my family in situations that I know is wrong & not being able to get THEM to see it. I can’t live my life for them, but I want to.

Zen's avatar

@Amoebic You are funny!!

Mr_M's avatar

People who make stupid, dangerous driving maneuvers because they’re on the cell phone.

Recently I have been striving to not be frustrated at things that are out of my control.

It worked pretty well this past week! So I will continue with the habit.

I also try to not be frustrated at things in my control, but I do get disappointed when I am late for something, as I highly value being on time.

Online: not understanding things that interest me when I’ve no time to research them

IRL: people who breed when they can’t afford to and then complain about their poverty

*those would be the biggest

Seeing people take a bad path despite your advice.

jonsblond's avatar

When a person is so angry over something that happened to them and they feel that they need to take everyone else down with them.

People that think they know it all.
Rudeness
People that are so close minded that they form an opinion based on someone’s religion, political stance or general lifestyle. that really annoys me
People with a sense of Entitlement – that they are owed certain things. Really? We all can into the world the same way, right? Naked and a newborn.
People who refuse to participate in life. They’d rather complain on the sidelines instead of jumping in and taking action.
Safety caps on medicine bottles when my arthritis is acting up! (I just love having RA!)
When you drop something on the floor (think a pat of butter, anything goopy – sour cream) gooey or sticky side down. Just once, can’t it land on the non-goopy side?

@Amoebic I am very new here and at the time I wrote that you are funny, I had misread who had written the comment to whom I had been referring to. Sorry.

I had written: “Those were two whoppers.”

To which lynne wrote: <blush>

Which I thought was cute, funny.

Sorry about the misunderstanding. I need some more time to get the hang of this thing.

:-)

@lynne funny

nebule's avatar

mattbrowne's avatar

@zen – well, except for the vicious circle of violence the other parts happen elsewhere too, including Europe.

Zen's avatar

@mattbrowne Of course you are right. And how are you today my friend? Nice to see you.

mattbrowne's avatar

@zen – I’m really getting used to Fluther. I really like the “Great answer” feature. Spring has finally come to Germany. What a long winter it was this year! I hope the G20 summit will be a success.

Zen's avatar

@mattbrowne Hey buddy – don’t worry, all your answers are great to me. Good to hear that spring has sprung. Here it’s quite different – not nearly enough rain this winter and there will be a serious water shortage.

:-)
