Do you trust your news source?

I read an article a few days ago in my fathers paper that I really didn’t agree with, it was regarding figures on asylum seekers, I did some research and proven the article wrong, has anyone else had this problem?

No, none say 100% truth because all news is owned by big corp. and they are spinning their way to get ratings/profit by selling their products.

Do you think that there is a reasonably trusted news source out there? I used to like BBC news but then they got all pro isreal

It’s natural to have some bias.
BBC News and Stewart / Colbert. :)

After this past election, I have learned that there is not one news source that I can trust.

I think the best bet is to use news aggregators – Google News is the most popular. It allows you to click through to all stories written on a news topic, giving you a balanced view. You still are stuck with the bias of the news provider you choose to read, but can easily click through to a different viewpoint. It doesn’t really replace the feel of a newspaper, but who has the time to read the Times everyday.
