Has the quality and awesomeness of Youtube fallen since Google bought it?

I actually don’t know how I feel about this, so I want your opinions with your reasoning of course. A simple yes/no answer doesn’t help.

Yes, I did indeed think of this Q because Youtube is undergoing site maintenance yet again.

It’s taken a nosedive, the awesome. They insist on changing things almost on a weekly basis. And I bet no one remembers when they tried to make it look like just a search engine. Yeah, that didn’t last long. They’re failing badly. I guess no one ever told them that if something ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
