Is it normal for your ear to continue bleeding when gauging them after a few days ?

I started gauging my ears about two months ago and have jumped from size to size at a rather fast pace. My last jump was from a 2 to a 0. I had the 2 in for about 3 weeks because when I first did it would bleed a little. About three days ago I jumped to a 0 and both my ears still bleed at night when im not rolling the plug around. Is that okay ?
