How do I make the "You have a question that needs editing!" prompt go away?

Asked by TitsMcGhee (8281points) April 2nd, 2009

I have questions that asked that were accidental duplicates that still “need editing.” I don’t want to edit this question because I only asked them because I hadn’t found the question they duplicated before I asked. I want the prompt to go away. Is there any way to remove the questions that need editing without editing them for actual asking?

I have some too that won’t go away, I’ve learned to ignore it.
Maybe, they’re working on it, I hope so.

Argh! That’s silly.

When did that start? I had a question that I didn’t bother to edit, but I’ve never seen that.

I have one of those too and it really bugs me. Perhaps they leave them there as a reminder?

For now, just hit edit so it sends it back to the moderators and they’ll reject the changes.

Like @fireside, I haven’t seen this either. In fact, I haven’t received any type of notification as to why my past questions have been modded. (at least the past two that I had asked). I don’t have a problem with them being modded, I just don’t get these notifications that everyone else does. Nothing in my email at all.

@jonsblond – hmm, i definitely got the email, but i notice that a lot of the “your questions has a response” emails get stuck in a spam filter.

@all, I’ve changed the way that the moderation process works—it’s all on-site now. (Let me write a blog post about that).
