Hey Zen, I guess most of the American Flutherites are still asleep. Thanks for your comments in some of my questions and see my replies. It’s a bit odd having to defend myself…

What is a lurve-like term?

YARNLADY's avatar

It appears that the word frizzer will set everyone off in a spasm of laughter.

Zen's avatar

@mattbrowne You’re right of course – it’s the middle of the night on a Friday for most of them – so hopefully they are out and partying. I think as soon as they contribute you’ll see what I mean.

Oops, there’s one now from Yarnlady.

What’s a frizzer?

YARNLADY's avatar

@Zen Oh come on, enjoy the excitement of discovery. Enter it in the search feature at the top of the page. It seems to stem from a misspelled word in a question from a very dubious user.

Whats wrong with having a frizzer? Everyone should have one. I demand it!

Zen's avatar

I have one attached to my frij.

oratio's avatar

Really? Ze frij, aye? Curse you and your sudden, yet inevitable, betrayal!

=)

oratio's avatar

I’m sorry, I just love saying that. Don’t take offense. It’s from the tv-series “Firefly”.

Zen's avatar

None taken. Never seen firefly, though, so I’ll imdb it straight away.

I’ll try again. There is a question on fluther that you might enjoy. I tried to post it here a few minutes ago, but it didn’t take. See “Suggestions for “Fluther jargon”? on the right hand side of this page.

Thaw out the pancakes that are stored in your frizzer so that you can eventually eat them and experience the multiple Fluthergasms they will provide for you. Seriously.

Zen's avatar

@Trustinglife I did notice that here first, and I love it. All the lol’s and rofl’s seem so contrived and passe now. The added 4RL shows that you actually laughed, and not just that you found it funny. I think it’s an excellent (yet temporary) contribution to netspeak.

Zen's avatar

@Bluefreedom Thanks for that! That was a flutherful experience.

@oratio – Firefly was a great series, wasn’t it? Too bad the producers killed it after the first season.

oratio's avatar

@mattbrowne Yes, they made the movie “Serenity” though, but yeah, it was a great show.

mattbrowne's avatar

@oratio – I’ve seen the movie and thought it was okay, but not great. The series was indeed a great show.

oratio's avatar

I agree.

@Zen: Go to this thread and read Nimis’ links – it’s a great compilation of memes derived from very funny posts. It shows the source for pancakes, cake, frizzer, etc.

Dog's avatar

We need to add Evrul to Nimis’ list.
For those not here last week Evrul = negative lurve.

eponymoushipster's avatar

keep in mind the CIA is watching this thread, like all the others.

Dog's avatar

@Bucky shhhh- do not mention the “c” acronym.

VzzBzz's avatar

Zen's avatar

@Dog Bad answer. You smell.

cak's avatar
