Why is GMail letting in so much spam?

Usually GMail is good in this field, but for te past week or so, I’ve gotten SO much spam.

That’s happened to me too. I have several gmail accounts, and they all start out fine. Then somewhat randomly one will start getting a crapload of spam! I don’t understand it. Good question.

Some of it is based on your web browsing activity, and not google itself.
