Post-Thanksgiving let-down? Activities?

Asked by skfinkel (13537points) November 25th, 2007

I just had a great Thanksgiving with my children, and then come back to an empty apartment. Calling friends, doing laundry, taking a walk are things I have done…other suggestions? Looking for some creative ways to deal with the contrast.

I find that doing good helps; volunteer for tutoring, teaching ESL, etc. I have been spending one afternoon a week w. a woman who can’t have lights or power on, or be out in the sun. We sit in her dark house, eat raw food, laugh and have fun. In the past, I taught a lovelyRussian woman English and we had a wonderful time until she got very ill and moved away.
