Is there a way to bookmark or save radio stations in either VLC or Winamp?

Asked by TheBox193 (997points) April 5th, 2009

I use both. They bother are just as good. I do prefer to use VLC when I can as it uses less resources. I typically listen to stations that are listed on Shoutcast.

Any ideas? I couldn’t find anything.

I used to create a new winamp playlist and drag in (or enqueue) the radio stations I liked so that it formed a list. Then all you need to do is save the playlist and there you will have all your stations saved in a .m3u. I’m not sure if this will then port to VLC but you can always give it a try

Thank you. I’m saving them with winamp. I might just play them inside winamp then, it will be easier.

Thanks again.
