How Do I Uninstall This Stupid Windows Live Toolbar?

Go to uninstall programmes in the control panel and then uninstall it as you would any other program.

Or is it like some of the other tool bar programs that you can right click on it & hit ‘disable’?

Look for an “about” or “help” icon on it and see if it tells you there. Every now and then with some download I accidentally install a toolbar I don’t want, and that’s how I usually get rid of it.

Go to help and disable it then go see if its in program files and click on uninstall .

XP:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type appwiz.cpl, and then press ENTER.
3. In the Currently installed programs list, click Windows Live Toolbar, and then click Remove.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Vista:
1. Click Start, and then click in the Start Search box.
2. Type appwiz.cpl, and then press ENTER.
3. In the Uninstall or change program list, click Windows Live Toolbar, and then click Uninstall.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions

Notes

* To install or uninstall Toolbar, you must have administrator (The person who manages a computer and has permissions to make changes to the computer, including installing programs, accessing files, and managing user accounts.) rights on the computer.
* You can also remove Toolbar by clicking the arrow next to the Windows Live logo Windows Live, pointing to Help, and then clicking Uninstall.

if toolbar not in software list goto run and type appwiz.cpl click on windows live essentials and uninstall seleckt toolbar in next screen and it will be gone
