What blooms in early July in New England?

Okay folks well . . . I got engaged! Yay!!

So, I’m told that i’m supposed to pick my wedding colors based on the flowers that I want to have. Okay. Well I’m getting married on July 4, 2010 (yes you’re all invited) in Massachusetts (save the date).

So . . . what’s in season in New England in July?

A quick google search was fruitless – though I do tend to be a dolt about these things. I’d like our colors to be green and white but . . . apparently I have to back this up with some sort of research.

Any leads?
