Where can one find a collection, or a series of collections, of 'The Far Side' Images?

Bookstores.

Amazon.

There are numerous books, calendars, planners, etc with these images collected. Like @cwilbur suggested—you can try Amazon or your local bookseller.

Due to the fact that I live abroad for now; there aren’t really any bookstores where I can find these collections here in Italy. I don’t use amazon, etc.. for an uncomfortable experience in the past. so I’m looking specifically on the net. Wasn’t able to find any downloadable links on gary’s official site. I was expecting some payment download as found on other sites.
Even though I quite frankly wouldn’t mind just some random pics to copy and paste.
I’ve looked and couldn’t find some of those old legendary ones I loved.. just some repetitive rather good ones.

I know you specified on the ‘net, but I would suggest used book stores. That’s where I found all three of the Far Side collections that I have. At one time, I thought of papering my bathroom with Far Side comics like I had seen in a local bar.

@VS that’s a quite grand idea, mate… that’d be class…never seen anything like that, but have thought of similar concoctions.. cheers..
