Any common misconceptions that you know of?

Common misconception #8: Astronauts on space shuttles are weightless because they are in space.

Real reason: The astronauts move at high speed which creates tremendous centrifugal forces. The Earth’s pull on the astronauts is still pretty strong. They would fall back onto Earth.

That centrifugal force is the same as centripetal force.
