How do I fix fudge if I made it with evaporated milk instead of condensed milk ?

Asked by stacy (17points) December 3rd, 2007

I made fudge it won’t set up, it is soft and like a very thick pudding. I used evaporated milk instead of condensed milk by mistake. 3cups semisweet chocolate chips, a dash of salt, 11/2 teaspoon vanilla and 14 oz milk: I used evaporated instead of condensed which is what the recipe called for. Is there anything I can do to save the fudge or make it into some other dessert.

Pour it over good coffee ice cream, or put it under home-made whipped cream. Your putative (love that word) fudge is just that; try one of these ways:

fudge
