Tips for a new site about Okinawa...

This is my second attempt at making a good travel resource for Okinawa, but I find it hard to make a cohesive website. Where am I missing the mark, besides the fact that I haven’t input lots of information yet. http://www.hdrjapan.com

Is it just confusing how I try to mix HDR photography with a travel resource? I have not taken any professional web design theory classes or anything, and would appreciate some constructive feedback.

Well, the question, of course, is do you want to create a website about HDR Photography or if you want to create a site about Okinawa?

Since the site is hdrjapan.com, I would guess your focus is the photography and perahaps just make the travel resource happen as a side effect of your commentary on your photographs?
