Which flag do I use?

Asked by TheBox193 (997points) May 21st, 2009

I want to fly a miniature polish flag on my website that symbolizes that the page can be translated to polish by clicking it.
However there are two polish flags, one with a crest and one without. I’m not sure which one the average person is suppose to use.

I found the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Poland

I think the bird symbol is from their historical flag. (I could be wrong though).

I believe the modern Polish flag is just white and red, with no bird. It looks just like the flag of Indonesia, but upside down.

…i would reference translation sites on the net and take the cue from them…afterall, it is what they do…
