Just look for those who are honest, value life over money, and tolerate ‘alternative’ lifestyles and minority/non believers (without capitulating to political expedienty and threats to elevate such,) yet promote value of traditional families and respect.

Ivan's avatar

Actually you should look at which one of them has the most supporting empirical evidence. (Hint: None of them)

steve6's avatar

My money is on the Inuits.

Crusader's avatar

@Ivan,

Not for you, you are obviously relegating yourself to worm food, though pushing up daisies is an aesthetic in itself…The world you advocate already has a Diety, Satan.

steve6's avatar

@Crusader please leave my unbiased forum.

@steve6

Try finding another forum to post, instead of accepting only the answers that agree with your own, then. Your are inherently biased yourself if you refuse to allow differing opinion. I stand by my statements, on this, Public forum.

I want to hear everyone’s answer and you are getting in the way.

Most are right, some are left.

Crusader's avatar

@steve6
I believe, in this case, you could have asked the question, ‘which religion is Left.’

@steve—the answer would be, which ever path you are drawn to. The one that moves you the most. Follow the inspiration.

@eponymoushipster

The level of your lurve, coupled with your blatant obcenity indicates a strong association with the collective here…God help us.

What is a minority believer?

Not even 10 posts before this digressed.

@eponymoushipster

God loves you, but hates your sin. I, on the other hand, acknowledge my faults and accept judgement from Him, not you.
(since when did you begin believing in a God?)

Interesting how @epony…can post anything and it is not removed is it not…

eponymoushipster's avatar

@Crusader haha. You obviously don’t read, you KNOW i believe in God, unless you don’t read anything i’ve ever written. And could you please elaborate as to which sin i’ve supposedly committed in your warped little world?

Is it the Inuit?

ABoyNamedBoobs03's avatar

Zeus is pretty good. He can make his own thunder. That is neat.

eponymoushipster's avatar

@steve6 Zorostrianism. which i think is also a coffee at Starbucks.

steve6's avatar

I once had an animal I had just killed for food look at me before he died and he looked as if he understood. The Inuit believe in this.

eponymoushipster's avatar

@steve6 you’re not a cannibal, are you? because, if you are, that wouldn’t probably count…

steve6's avatar

ABoyNamedBoobs03's avatar

@steve6 dude… that totally happened the last time I killed a hooker… it’s like she knew man…

steve6's avatar

I’m being serious.

eponymoushipster's avatar

@ABoyNamedBoobs03 i was told that was extra.

@steve6 personally, i don’t think animals know. i think it’s natural, however, to react if someone is attacking you, regardless of man or animal.

ABoyNamedBoobs03's avatar

lol I’m just messing with you.

my dog is afraid of guns, he’s never heard one shot, never been shot at, etc. but if I point an unloaded gun in his direction he hides…

No religions are right. Religions set up a false system of ideas that, among other things, can either comfort a person with pleasant fantasies, or push them in to the way of the leader. Sometimes they can be advantageous in helping someone grieving the loss of someone close or other moments of need, but far more often they are disadvantageous when religious oligarchies deny basic human rights and cause psychological trauma when threats are made as to what will occur if they do not follow.

I have certain criterion that a religion must fulfil if I am to consider it harmless. Unfortunately, the majority of religions and religious groups are the bane of society.

Edit: FSM is the one true religion. His noodly arms comfort me, and destroy his enemies.

Edit 2: One of my favourite quotes is “You can safely assume you have created your god in your own image when he hates all the same people you do.”

MINE
MY RELIGION IS RIGHT
...i know coz God tld me so.

Gfly's avatar

It’s about spirituality not all the other crap. What ever you feel comfortable being a part of is what you should take part in. Explore!!!!

Ivan's avatar

@Gfly

But that doesn’t make it “right.”

Gfly's avatar

@Ivan right and wrong is a matter of opinion and social standerd. I think that the high power we call god is not concerned in which way we worship and show our respect. I think god or whatever you want to call him,her,it wants to see what we do with the life that we have been granted. We are like a big science project. So do something to the best of your abilities that you think is good and out of the ordinary and i’m pretty sure you won’t burn in “hell” lol

ABoyNamedBoobs03's avatar

exactly gfly…

there is no right religion, spirituality is not right, nor is it wrong. it’s just opiniaddayaddayadda… ever take the time out of your day and realize you sound like such a fucking gas bag sometimes? God talk is like jacking off without a prostate…

Ivan's avatar

@Gfly

I’m interpreting “right” to mean “objectively true.”

evelyns_pet_zebra's avatar

Evelynism works for me. It is the right choice for the right price at the right time. Life is about choices, your results may vary.

@aboynamedboobs03. Lmao!

Buddhist beliefs are comforting for the secular minded.

Sincerely Ask God and it will be answered to you, you need to do it with a sincere repentive heart , I did cry to Him with frustration and revealed me the truth. God bless.

P/s if you do it not from your innermost sincerity you will also reap that what you sown.

FireMadeFlesh's avatar

@seVen Which god are we to ask?

ABoyNamedBoobs03's avatar

@seVen you spoke with the big guy? probably should have asked him who’s winning the super bowl this year… oh wait… free will… he doesn’t control that stuff… but he is all knowing… makes sense right?...

like I said… talking about religion is like jacking off without a prostate

penny398's avatar

All religions are true in the sense that they are metaphorical of the relationship between humans and the universe they find themselves in. The expression of this varies but the goal is the same. An example of this would be “karma”. In the Bible we read “that which you sow you will also reap.” It may be inflected a little differently, but it’s the same idea.

FireMadeFlesh's avatar

@penny398 That is one example of common ground, but I think it is a stretch to say all religions are true in any sense at all. The common theme of religions is a result of their common goal of explaining what we observe. Since most people make similar observations regarding life, death, and humanity’s obligations, most religions evolved similar principles. That is not enough to make them true though, they are only a primitive explanation of reality.

everett's avatar

all are right

FireMadeFlesh's avatar

@everett Some are mutually exclusive. How then can they all be right?

Mgfish23's avatar

As Nietzsche said ” there is no right or wrong just your opinion and mine” I myself am an atheist and believe in reason and justice. I also rely on critical thinking.
