Where can I find an iPod for around 75 bucks that's @ least 16gb?

Asked by jenna (72points) June 6th, 2009

Is this even possible? The only thing that sucks is that I don’t want to buy off of e-bay or craigslist because I’m not sure if it’s a REAL iPod. And I don’t want to buy something that will be shipped to me.. and I find out it’s broken. Also, I’ve checked e-bay and the only things I found for cheap were the iPod shuffle, and like 1–2gb for that price. Any ideas? Thanks!

check craigslist

I’ve bought and sold countless items on there. And you can negotiate prices. Just say you’ve budgeted for only 75 dollars and see who really wants to get rid of their ipods.

This is your best bet. They will look like new and they have a warranty.

@johnpowell those are $150.

@randommrdan i don’t want to go through craigslist because i don’t want to get something that’s broken or will break a day from when i get it!

@steven0512 best answer yet! haha

I should have clarified. I don’t think you will get what you want without significant risk. I know the stuff I linked to is more but it is is safe.

I try to avoid linking to stuff that is bad or something I haven’t used.

@jenna that’s why you take a look at the ipod before buying it. fully test it, do a factory reset on it, and just make sure it works.

You won’t find an ipod new with 16GB+ for 75 dollars that isn’t used, or refurbished.

buy it hot off the black market. Look out for that mysterious dude in a black coat who walks up to you with a working ipod touch for a quick $50 bucks ;-)

There’s a golden triangle when purchasing things: Price, Quality, Features. Pick Two.

RandomMrdan's avatar

@PandoraBoxx I think she wants all three.

Doesn’t happen. People in hell want ice water.

Nott gonna happen, unless you can find a sympathetic friend. Why would anyone sell a product for far below what they can get for it? I don’t get why you just don’t save so you can have what you want.

If you find that deal I have a deal for you. just trade me the iPod for these beans. I know what you’re thinking.

You’re thinking, “Why would I give up this awesome iPod for some ratty old beans?”

“Because”, I would tell you. “They’re magic beans.”

what? the $75 16G iPod or the magic beans, they’re both fucking fairy tales.

the best way you’ll get an ipod at that price with that capacity is used from a local seller. Just be sure and check it out thoroughly.

In the uk we have cash converters, similar to a pawn shop. You must have similar in the US?
