Lots of lurve to anyone who can help me find this dress brand online!

Asked by emilyrose (2272points) June 12th, 2009

okay ladies—you have been there before. Tried on a dress, decided to think about it only to have it sell out! I want to find a dress online and I just called the store who told me the brand is ” Tea If” I am not sure if the words run together like “teaif” or what or maybe like “TEAIf” but I can’t find a darn thing. Help!

I did a quick search online….nothing. I suggest calling back the store and getting the exact spelling. Maybe the manager can help you and tell you where else you can find the dress. If the store is a chain, they may sell it elsewhere, and maybe they can get it shipped to their store. Good luck!

What store did you find the dress at? Maybe you can search brands on the store site and see if you can locate it there.

Alex Teih, perhaps? Are you talking wedding dress here, or what?

Can you give a little more detail, like name of the store, style of the dress?

The store does not list brands on their website : ( I suppose I could call back but I feel like a stalker!

I would call back. Maybe even go there and look at the tag myself. Have them write down the exact make of the dress and your size on a piece of paper or print it out for you.

I doubt they will mind. If they do, they don’t deserve your business in the future (imo).

For DHStyles, the brand is listed. It’s the heading, then the style number. TEALF and TEAlf are the same thing, only in lower case it looks like IF instead of LF.

thanks—I still haven’t found quite what I am looking for. Seems strange that it is only on that one site??

I just called again, they said the company is TEA and the dress is If. I couldn’t find anything but the gal told me she would search for it too. Nice!

You could go on the store web site, and send an e-mail targeted to their buyer, and explain the situation. Or you could ask the store to all other stores to see if they have the dress in your size, and ask to have it UPS shipped to your home. I’ve done that before.

@PandoraBoxx—all good ideas. They are a small local store and said they couldn’t order it for me, but would call me if something similar came in. Thanks!
