Bay Area backpacking spot that is easy to get reservations at?

I’m trying to make a camping reservation for my bday weekend and being a bad planner I have waited too long! Are there are good spots I may have missed? I have already tried Pt. Reyes, Samuel P. Taylor, Big Basin, and lots of others. It will likely be a group of 10–15 people, maybe more…

I am so sad that you asked this question in June ad didn’t get any answers!! When I looked at the Orphan questions yours was the first one to show up that wasn’t all tech. Did you ever find a place?
