IPhone Firmware Trouble Any Help?

Asked by JCip (1points) June 26th, 2009 from iPhone

The iPhone firmware 3.0 is trouble for the 3G. It overclocks the system and causes problems like too much heat and fast battery drainage. Programs can fail or work irradically because of this. Is there a way to fix this?

Did you Jailbreak it?

Ouch, that shouldn’t be happening. You could simply try letting the battery drain, waiting a couple hours, and then fully recharging it. Apple reffers to this as callibrating the battery. Most likely though, you should just go ahead and do a system restore after you sync it with your computer to make sure everything is backed up. That’s all I can think of but good luck getting it to work properly.
