Either 1 or old enough to have alzheimer’s

peyton_farquhar's avatar

Presumably, my knowledge of my age has no effect on my age itself. So I’d say I would still be almost 19.

Personally I think age as a number that advances is irrelevant. To me age is how a person feels. Today I feel about 25 but earlier today, before running, I was 18.

Fifty

I’m actually thirty-seven

I’d be as old as I really am. As for how old I’d think I am, I’d probably know to within a couple of years because 5 seems to be about the age when kids start to become very aware of age as an attribute and track it. So if I had started counting at about that age, I wouldn’t be far wrong.

It depends on the day.

648, I would keep track using the lune method.

irocktheworld's avatar

hummm…maybe 12 or 16 ;p

bezdomnaya's avatar

I was actually talking to someone the other day about how we forget how old we are sometimes. I always stumble when someone asks me because I don’t really keep track. I’m actually 23… no, 24.

Sometimes I feel like I’m actually a grumpy old man at heart, so I would say that I would be 73. But a lot of times I do actually feel my own age because I don’t really yet know what I’m doing with my life, so sometimes mid-20s.

Allie's avatar

I’m pretty sure my age wouldn’t differ much from what it actually is. Maybe give or take a year or two. (I’m 21.)

JLeslie's avatar

@bezdomnaya Wow, you are young to already be forgetting your age. I forget mine too. I usually ask my husband how old he is, and then I know how old I am. When you are a kid you are asked every day, “I’m 5, I’m 5 and a half,” so it is almost impossible to forget, and then you are waiting to be 16 so you can drive, and then 21 so you can drink, and then after that, it doesn’t really matter.

What I know about my age doesn’t affect my age. If I was a vegetable and knew nothing about myself, I would still be 30 years old. I would still be 5’11”. I would still be Caucasian. I would still be male. My lack of knowledge of physical characteristics doesn’t have anything to do with those physical characteristics existing.

Facade's avatar

@bezdomnaya I do the same thing

The_Compassionate_Heretic's avatar

If I didn’t know my real age, it would have no bearing on how old I really am.

Dog's avatar

Alas- our dog got out and ran onto a busy street. I was able to retrieve her safely but now my age is about 110.

Bluefreedom's avatar

34 and a half.

1,000.

I tried asking a similar question for fun, but most people here just won’t get into it. So yes, that’s right – I will have fun with it! 1,000-years-old! :)

ABoyNamedBoobs03's avatar

I’m nineteen, and I have been for years.

Saturated_Brain's avatar

I sometimes feel like I’m having a mid-life crisis.

Have you ever heard of that? 18 year-olds having mid-life crises.

Only if you only expect to live until age 36.

Saturated_Brain's avatar

Argh no! That’s not what I meant!

Sexually 34 (my peek was 27)
Intuitively (thousands of years)
Physically (fitness wise, 35)
Emotionally (I am still a child)
Chronological age (40).....:)

I was born in 1960, so the math is pretty easy. I remember being 5 or 6 yrs old when Star Trek was advertised on TV.

Normally, I feel about 15, except when it comes to sex, then I feel about 65. I’m not George Burns yet, but somedays I feel like it.

rooeytoo's avatar

Some days my body feels about 120 but my mind is usually around 12!

Jack_Haas's avatar

I’m younger in my late 30s than I was in my teens. I’d say… 16 sounds about right.

bezdomnaya's avatar

@JLeslie Yeah, I am probably a bit young to be forgetting how old I am, but like you said, after 21 it doesn’t really matter anymore. Plus, I have friends who range from 19 to 77 that I get on with really well, so I’ve not defined myself by my age in a long time now.

May2689's avatar

Probably about 16…or 17.
