How can I download a different browser without deleting my current one?

I’d love to try out Opera, Safari, or Chrome, but I’m afraid it’ll get rid of Firefox (Which I LOVE) like it did with IE when I downloaded FF (I don’t care about that). I’m just wondering if there is a way that you can be certain that the browser you’re downloading won’t get rid of your current one?
