What size converse do i order?

Asked by kayyyyleigh (404points) August 5th, 2009

i am customizing my own converse online. the converse i have now that i bought at the store are a woman’s 9. i need the same size but when i put 9 in, it tells me my converse size is a 7. does that mean i order the converse size 7, or do i need to order a converse size 11 to get the size i need?
thanks :] :D

Converse shoes online come in men’s sizes, so you really need a size seven. Men’s shoes are significantly bigger than women’s, so you therefore need a smaller shoe.

What @Fly says. I wear a size 11 women’s which converts on Converse.com to a men’s size 9. So you need a men’s or standard Converse size 7 to end up with a shoe that will fit you.

I’ve always found converse to run a bit big compared to other shoes. If the converter tells you to buy a size smaller then do it cause that’s what I have to do when I buy cons.

My best advice is to go to a store and try on a pair to find out which size works for you before you spend $80+ on something that wont fit and is not returnable.
