Can I mix my podcasts and music in iTunes?

Asked by itsnotmyfault1 (203points) January 13th, 2008

Can I get iTunes to keep podcasts in my Library with the rest of my music? Or will they forever be separated?
Can I label certain podcasts to be listed as regular music?

I“m on a Mac. YMMV if you are using Windows. Select the Podcast and right click. Select “Convert Selection to MP3”

This will add it to your Library.

You can also mix podcasts and music freely within playlists, including Smart Playlists, in case all you’re trying to accomplish is playback of both kinds without manual intervention.

I do what chaosrob just suggested. i think it is better since you don’t create an extra file letting you have more space in your hard drive.
