I think they’re pretty good. They are actually pretty action packed for a 30 minute kids show.

My 6 soon to be 7 year old and I are right in the middle of watching them. We are really enjoying them.

My opinion might be tainted by my sons enthusiasm.

Very nice animation.

I have noticed that in Obi-Wan’s actor in “The Clone Wars” lacks character that Ewan McGregor had in the Episodes II and III. In the new show he seems almost monotonic in a way.

Shouldn’t destroy a name such as starwars . it’s tripe and not classed as starwars to me

After being obsessed with the prequels for a few years, I am Star Wars-ed out. I probably need another 5 years or so before I can even look at The Clone Wars.

Also some of the things they do in the new series are things that they would never depict in a live action movie. Such as a clone punching a robot in the face, which would obviously not work.

@sandystrachan – After the kid that played anakin (sp?) in first prequel, I don’t see how you can say that. That kid was so bad he ruined movies that were released at the same time that he wasn’t even in!

Starwars to me is , New Hope , Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi , everything else is a cheap imitation and George Lucas trying to get money .

Yeah, that should be left to George Lucas. No one could mess them up better.

Ah yes Mr Lucas he sure knows how to destroy his own creations , will he ever learn i doubt it .

Anyone here a fan of RobotChicken? I just recently discovered it and laughed my but off at it.

I sort of like it. I watch everything that comes out on Cartoon Network.

@jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities – one of my favorite sketches is when Darth Vader calls in after the Death Star explodes.

I don’t have cable. I had caught it on YouTube then got it from the Library. I also like the story behind the “He doesn’t like you, I don’t like you either” scene in the bar.

@Bri_L Check out the full episodes on adultswim.com if you don’t have cable.

I have to post this one. I’m hungry for gummy bears now.

I think they are worth watching. My 7 year old daughter and I enjoyed them thoroughly, looked forward to each episode.

She definitely liked the “real” movies better though, and actually (egads!) preferred the prequels to the originals.

The Clone Wars is a pleasant surprise in a genre that really needed a win.

@jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities – Big lurve and thank you!!!

I really enjoy the tv series. I like how it doesnt just stay with one point of view either, like one episode will be mainly focused on just some storm troopers. The only problem i have with the show is anakins padawan. That girl is so god damn annoying. EGH
