Yes,
“Students at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa have published a paper in a book titled Infectious Disease Modelling Research Progress detailing how to model the spread of a zombie population and various complications in managing the spread of the infestation.”
They were mostly modeling it as a type of epidemic.

I think Fluther provides an important public service by helping us think about what we would do in the case of such an apocalypse, thereby heightening the chances of survival for all Flutherers.

And now, for a real answer. Yes.
