What are the best games for Wii?

Here are my picks:

Super Mario Galaxy
TIger Woods Golf 07 or 08
Madden 08
Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock
Wii Play for more sports

Now keep in mind from a graphics standpoint, the Wii is limited (ps2 xbox quality), but that does not mean the graphics are bad. Its not about the graphics that make the Wii awesome, its the game play and interaction that make up for it.

I heard that Tiger Woods 08 is better than 07, so if you you’re into Golf, get the 08 version. I hear it is pretty challenging, though.

For some low cost fun check out the Wii Zapper which comes with Links Crossbow. Around $20–25

The good way to find out what the best games are is to go to gamerankings.com and filter by platform, using Wii as platform.

This lists the games in order by the highest raking average score given by all the magazines and online review sites that have rated that particular game.

Looking at the list now I have to agree with it. My personal favorites right now are Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, Zak & Wiki, and Super Mario Galaxy. I haven’t had a change to check out Metroid yet but it’s on my list.

I also have to agree with glial that the Zapper with Link’s Crossbow Training is a lot of fun for $20.

I really like the new Zelda: Twilight Princess game. Good graphics, longer story line and challenging.

Mario Galaxy. One of the best games I’ve ever played. And you wouldn’t think it.

I have Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and WarioWare Smooth Moves besides what was already posted here. I liked all of them, with Metroid being the best and WarioWare being the worst.

wario ware is fun wen u have friends over…. For about 5 minutes. But I have metroid prime 3 and it is a ready good game. Not much replay value though. Of course I have mario galaxy and it really us one of the best games I’ve ever played. But also if you like sports games I would sugest mario strikers charged. I don’t even like soccer but I love that game. It is definately up there on my favorite games list. It has wifi so its always a different expirience, the graphics are surprisingly good, and its a great game to play with friends.you can even play online and sign in a friend as a guest so you both can play online. I highly recomend it.
