Why is it I can use Fluther in IE but not in Firefox?

Asked by RareDenver (13173points) September 4th, 2009

Okay so I suddenly can’t ask new questions on Fluther through Firefox, it just freezes. I can only do this through IE.

And I hate IE.

Anyone got any suggestions or fixes? Could the Fluther founders maybe shine a light on this issue?

Shift-reload the page. Should work again.

We hate IE too.

You are holding shift and then reloading?

Delete all temporary and offline files. I had the same issue and this fixed my firefox.

Huh. I haven’t had that problem and I use Firefox.

Well, in case I start having that problem it’s good to know how to fix it.

@all, holding shift while you reload (or use shift-f5 or shift-command-R) will delete the cache for that site. Oftentimes it will fix the problem, and is a really quick fix.

Well none of the above worked but going to bed and trying again the next morning seemed to. Thanks anyway guys.

I’m with Darwin. I’m on Firefox & it works great. I’ve never had a problem with it on any site. ‘Course anything beats IE!

@RareDenver Are you using the scriptblock extension? If so disable for fluther.

I agree, I use Firefox with no problems and avoid IE whenever possible
