What will you do if you were framed up and accused of doing a crime, even if you are not present at that moment?

This happened to my friend, and I don’t want this to happen again..

Write down, in detail, everything you did (where you were, who you were with) over a forty-eight hour period when the crime allegedly occured.

Ask the people who were with you to write a statement (affidavit) detailing their time with you during that period (establish an alibi).

Obtain an attorney and bring these with you. He will, most likely interview you and the alibis (recount their statements in front of him/her).

Now my question is, why would you assume you will be accused of a crime you didn’t commit? Do you associate with the folks who did commit it? Do you have a record? Is this a vendetta?

Absolutely nothing. I would hire someone to do it all for me – then sue those responsible.

I’d make damn sure my alibi witness was credible and both of our stories matched before we talked to or got interrogated by the authorities. After that, I’d hire O.J.‘s former dream team to represent me if there was a trial.

I would hire the best attorney I could and give him/her my address book and calendar so my alibis could be found promptly and believably.

I would make a fool of Tommy Lee Jones as I tracked down the real culprit.
