I go to the gym twice a week and work out with a personal trainer. Then I try to do some walking most other days, or ride bikes with my kids. I also shoot to get to the gym one other day and work out by myself.

Walk and walk, stairs instead of escalators, and light freeweights, many reps.

Since I started working at UPS I have completely forgotten about jogging, lifting weights, and anything else. It’s a four hour workout every night, I don’t feel like I need much else.

I bike. No, I don’t work out and I never have, but biking is a good workout. I bike around the city, I go mountain biking at Tahoe, etc. It’s a lot of fun and is very good exercise.

Other than that, I still like to skateboard sometimes and I walk a lot, especially around the city.

I work out with a personal trainer three times a week for an hour. My intent is to get back into shape, and then switch from the personal trainer to the gym. Besides that, I’ve started paying better attention to what I eat and how much I eat.

I work out at the gym three times a week. I do about 2 and a half hours of weight-lifting, changing my weight, set and rep routine every 6 weeks or so (one cycle of strength-building, one cycle of size-building, one cycle of endurance-building, then repeat). Typically, I do 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise after the weight-lifting part.

When I’m not feeling lazy, like I have been for the past month or so, I add two more days to the gym where I only do around 45–60 minutes of cardio.

Almost two weeks ago, I started on a strict calorie restriction diet. First, I determined my daily caloric maintenance level by measuring my body fat percentage. Then I lowered that number by 20%. It’s been tough, but I’m seeing modest results already.

My fear of elevators means I do a lot of stair walking. It’s seven flights to get to my OB. But, I take stairs wherever I am.

I take the stairs up to 10 flights in buildings, run 3x a week, gojo karate 2x a week. Must make more changes to my diet, though.

I work at a job where I walk constantly. I wore a pedometer once and walked 5 miles on a regular night, not a busy one. My body is so used to it that I have joined the Y and work out about five days a week. I usually do about 35 to 40 minutes of cardio a day-I split the time between the arc trainer and the elliptical. I will do about 30 minutes of strength training two or three times a week. I don’t enjoy it as much as the cardio.

Okay.
If you are a man, go to the gym four times a week:
1st time: Chest and triceps
2nd time: Shoulders and legs
3rd time: Back and biceps
4th time: Running, stairs, stomach and yoga.
